VIRTUES OF THE GLORIOUS QURAN
In the name of Allah,
The giver and taker of life.
With his name, I seek refuge,
From the whisper of the devil.
All form of adoration,
Purification and glorification,
Goes to our benefactor,
Protector and creator.
I send blessings and prayers,
Upon the prophet, Muhammad.
The best of mankind,
The one who came with extreme guide.
AL-QURAN!
The holy and glorious book,
Being elevated in all nook.
An inimitable word,
Revealed to our beloved one.
A revelation of twenty-three years,
Descending upon the prophet, here and there.
Divulging directly from the creator,
Faithfully transmitted to all creation.
Sent down in parts,
That the heart may be strengthen thereby.
Oh the Quran!
The word of the lord of the world,
The scripture of nothing but Islam.
A guidance for all mankind,
Comprising many rules to abide.
In it comes orders from my lord,
To avoid all sins and seek reward.
A central message of Allah's oneness,
Giving a firm realization,
That Allah is sole detector of the universe.
Laa ilaaha illallahu,
No one is God except Allah.
The Quran is of great virtue,
Honor, lightness and gratitude.
Undoubtedly, it's a book of revolution,
The fundamental guide and ultimate solution.
What is more glorious than the Quran?
The greatest miracle,
The best of gift,
The cure to the heart,
It is none other than this book.
Highly valuable and important,
Its role, is known to be vital,
In every and all form of life.
Let's form a huddle,
To confer its virtues in bundle.
Quran, a living miracle,
Well detailed and updated.
In it you find solutions,
To all the problems.
It teaches to have patience,
Good morals and forbearance.
PATIENCE: constant in pursuit,
A state of being calm and diligent.
MORAL: a good conscience,
A demure attitude and behavior.
What does forbearance entails?
It entails: restraint,
Tolerance and endurance.
Qur'an teaches forgiveness,
To make us firm and uprightness.
It is an important practice,
Inspired by the Quran and sunnah.
Forgiveness is of two forms:
Allah's forgiveness for our sins,
And the one among human beings.
QURAN: the best medicine;
The cure to all diseases.
The heart lubricant,
Putting heart and its disease apart.
In reading it, the heart heals,
And serving as a form of dhikr.
It preaches peace and tranquility,
Respect, goodness and charity.
There is much more to talk about the Quran;
There are more greatnesses in the Quran.
The tips of the iceberg has just been given out,
A more detailed one comes forth.
On it, our life depends,
Via it, justice dispenses.
It brings about goodness,
Hold unto it, to acquire success.
Al furqoon, part of its name,
A distinguisher of Halal and Haram.
